Piero is responsible for the implementation and support of ISARIC's clinical research programme. This currently includes projects on Plague, Lassa fever, MERS-CoV and Nipah virus. Piero leads the clinical research team.

Gail is responsible for building research preparedness capacity through the development and implementation of training activities, membership engagement, managing the ISARIC Career Development Fellowships, and running study activation exercises. Gail was elected vice chair of GOARN in 2018 and is the Research working group lead. Gail is also the Scientific Manager for the Secretariat of the Global Research Collaboration for Infectious Disease Preparedness (GloPID-R).
The GloPID-R Secretariat has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under grant agreement No. 643434.

Giuseppe leads on internal and external communications, including the News Round-up. Giuseppe also manages communications for ZIKAlliance, a multinational and multi-disciplinary research consortium comprised of 54 partners worldwide.

James also manages the Multi-centre EuRopean study of Major Infectious Disease Syndromes (MERMAIDS), which is part of the PREPARE (Platform for European Preparedness Against (Re-)emerging Epidemics) project.|

|Liliana is Senior Communications Officer at the International Severe Acute Respiratory and Emerging Infection Consortium (ISARIC).
Her role includes developing and implementing the communication strategy. She is developing new layouts for ISARIC's new website and is responsible for their content, management and updates. She helps researchers to better disseminate their research using various social media outlets. She also designs some of the digital and printed assets.

|Romāns provides administrative expertise to assist the smooth operation of the GSC. He manages day-to-day administrative activities, including organising the arrangements for meetings and seminars, supporting the Board and Advisory Committee, and keeping membership details updated. His roles also covers budget monitoring and administrative support on financial matters such as tenders, purchasing and expenses.|
