Clinical Research Support CoordinatorCentre for Tropical Medicine, NDM Research Building, Old Road Campus, Headington, OxfordGrade 7: £29,541 - £36,298 p.a.The International Severe Acute Respiratory and Emerging Infection Consortium (ISARIC) and the Global Health Network are two programmes based at the Centre for Tropical Medicine that are supporting clinical research globally.
ISARIC is aiming to provide a clinical research response to outbreaks of Severe Acute Respiratory Infections (SARI) and emerging infection through facilitating collaborations and developing tools to support research globally. The Global Health Network is comprised of different research networks working to improve health outcomes in the world’s most challenging regions.
These programmes are looking for a Clinical Research Support Coordinator to develop clinical research tools and resources. Your duties will include working with collaborators and network members to provide support and advice in the planning, setting up, and running of specific research studies. You will also provide guidance on ethics and research review committee applications.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a field related to health research and have significant experience in clinical trial design and operation. You will have a flexible approach and work well as part of a team. Excellent knowledge of clinical trials conduct and regulations in different settings is essential.
This is a fixed-term post which is available for 1 year in the first instance.
