Faculdade de Medicina de São José do Rio Preto (FAMERP) invites graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from Brazil and around the world to apply to the São Paulo School of Advanced Science in Arbovirology, which will take place in Brazil from May 29 to June 9.
The event is fully funded for up to 100 students (50 from Brazil and 50 from abroad). Candidates will be selected based on CVs and letters of intent, with consideration given to the diversity of levels, countries and continents.
The School aims to provide students with a critical and comprehensive view of the cutting edge of arbovirology, with a special focus on Dengue, Zika and CHKV. Its major goal is to act as a hub for discussion of the significance of these arboviruses; to promote an exchange of experience between researchers, allowing students to access state of the art research in the field; and to acquire knowledge of all aspects of arbovirology.
More information can be found here. The deadline for applications is 15th March 2017.
